Congrats! Good looking car you have there. Don't hold back during winter. Buy a set of winter tires and go out have some fun. Winter time is one of the best time to drive your STi!

Ooh,hang on. That is the throb of a turbocharged flat four engine. A sound which, all over the world, heralds the imminent arrival of a moron - JC.

Very nice, I'm with you on that one. With 1600 miles on the clock my car is put away for winter also. I know they are AWD but I live in PA also and the roads are always covered in rocks and salt. Instead of spending $800 on another set of wheels I bought a winter unit and it has been taking a beating. About 5 coal trucks passed me yesterday and just welted the car with rocks and I just laughed to myself.

Bah why would you park it in the winter? You're paying for a car that you don't use? It would be cheaper to just drive it and get the rock chips fixed eventually. Plus you're wasting one of the most important attributes of your Subaru: AWD handling. That keeps you much safer, and I don't see how you can put a price on that.

I don't park any of my cars in winter. My 911 sees the roads and has the battle scars to show for it. Clear bras are for wussies!

    Blasphemy!!!
Pull that car out of the garage and enjoy the **** out of it... winter is the best time to drive and don't worry about the paint cause subaru's water color paint jobs get beat up on their own... you could fart on the hood and it would still have a mark on it...

You'll have the most fun in the winter with your STi! That's the reason you bought a Subaru and not a BMW 135i! The car isn't meant to be used on Tarmac, so go and enjoy it!
