    Cool Future WRX/STi Owner

I am going to be purchasing a new STi soon... Any recommendations? Like what to watch out for or anything? I love those cars and have always wanted one.

When you say new, do you mean literally a new '11 or new to you? If you're looking at a '11 then yea there's nothing to "look out" for. If it'll be new to you, there is a buyers guide on here.

    See here:

but to be honest, if you're looking at buying an '11, you'll be the first owner so like none of that stuff would really apply to you lol.

Yeah I don't know why you're asking if you should watch out for anything with a new car...

Watch out the dealer doesn't try and screw you, that's about it.

Yea, that's really it. Don't let the dealership f**k you over.

I remember when I was looking for my Subaru back in early '07.. Some dealerships would not let me test drive the STi's.. You all have any problems testing driving the '11's?

Well I recently went to a Scooby dealer over here in Washington where I live, and they only let me drive the WRX, not the STi... I don't know, I've never driven an STi and I'd really like to. But no dealer will let me, wherever I've gone.

They made me do a credit check before I was allowed to even do a test drive. If you're younger, a lot of them won't let you drive them period. I'm 33 so that makes a difference.
