$2400 for a Bugeye that runs is a good deal.

What do you mean "after i put the intake and intercooler back together"?

get compression/leakdown tested. Put the intake back to stock, etc. In fact, you may want to switch all the mod parts out for stuff you actually want.

    Pics, details, etc. needed! Welcome.

What brand of Cold Air intake did you buy? Not all CAI's are made equally. Some CAI's cause the MAF to think there is less air coming in to the engine than there actually is. Which causes the engine to run lean. It's easy to fix with tuning.

Please read this thread about what oil these engines like to use, and make sure it's the right stuff.
    ??What oil should I use??

I think it's safe to say you need to have the ECU tuned to work with that intake.

Please read the intake thread I posted above.

    Welcome.

I would remove that intake ASAP. Given the quality of the build, I doubt that the Bomz intake has been engineered to mimic the airflow of the stock airbox. If you are going to mod, you will absolutely need to get a leakdown test done on the car to ensure that the motor is in good health. Please, refrain from purchasing integral cheap ebay parts. The WRX is nothing less than a spoiled princess ... she will not take kindly to cheap parts. This isn't a Honda.
