Looking at the porsche website today.. there are quite a few of them we could destroy to 60mph.. I found that surprising. .. and oddly pleasing

Being that my car has a nice clean look to it I can't see how anyone would have anything bad to say about me or the car. I've had nothing but compliments on the car since I got it. However, if my car had the sti wing and I wore a side ways hat too big for my head I could see the compliments turning around very quickly.

Then I guess you're living in the right place then aren't you?
maybe you might be better off in a douchemobile.

again, the car doesn't make the man, the man does. If the girl cares at all what you drive, she's not worth the waste of time.

besides, that car wasn't for dates.. it was for scaring the **** out of people. Which it did..and did well.

Living in the Detroit area, all my friends and relatives pretty-much work for the "American" car companies. Because they're my friends and family, I automatically care what they think. I knew I would get **** from all these people, and every other resident in my area. But I don't care. I chose this car because I wanted something fun to drive, for a good value, that I could get the family in. I freakin' love it, and won't turn back.

I guess I'm more concerned with people's opinions of the car, rather than me. I don't want it to get keyed. I'm pretty sure I can handle people's ignorance face-to-face.

I've never understood SUVs. I (we) live in the city, why do you want a giant station wagon that's slow, bulky and a sucker of fuel? You don't need big, balloon tires, and tall suspensions so you can drive in the snow.

    fixed! lmao

I know because I lived in Michigan until 2008. In Saline (my home town), many of my friends' parents lost jobs when Ford pulled out...

Hmmm..honestly, I'm glad that my dating years were coming to a close before I owned a nice car. Overly materialistic girls were never a good match for me.

The ideal thing is to have the girls drive IMO.

First, there is no such thing as matured man, there is dead man

I am close to 40 and going to have a bady. I will put a carseat and a babyonboard sticker on my WRX But, I am sure most of the people will still be envious.

    Cheers!

This reminds me of how my girlfriend's mom perceived my car as "just another rice banger." That is until I let her drive it

Yep, I have 2 kids, 8 and 12. I've been slinging them around corners in a WRX since they were and infant and a toddler.
