    another new guy thread

hello everybody, kind of newish to the subura scene...I've owned my 05 WRX for about a year now...I'm just now considering the idea of making some slight exterior modifications (engine & suspension mods after this winter so no doubt I'll have some questions about that later).

first I would like to make some changes to my lighting...I've been doing some research on what's out there for fog lights and haven't really found what I'm "looking for." I would love to find some amber fog lights that are larger then the stock JDM ones. I used the search function and didn't find anything really useful.

I've also heard about using Lamin-x on the lights but I'm not so sure about this "cheap" change.

If anyone can point to the right direction that would be sweet

    thanks!

Aftermarket; Hella/PIAA are the two most common, but I'm not sure if they come in amber.

    hi there!

Hella 500 fog lights are a nice fit for the bumper - assuming you can find the bugeye fog light trim or put something together yourself.

Hellas are cheap, and do in fact have amber-lensed variants.

I'm thinking about getting the 05 OEM sti fogs...does anyone know if I need the sti wiring harness for that? or will my WRX work for this?
