Front lip spoilers on 2011 WRX?

I'm looking for a front lip spoiler to put on my 2011 WRX sedan. All I can find is this $545 sti V Limited one. I'm not about to pay $500 for a front lip. I was wondering if you guys know anywhere else selling them cheaper.

That looks very similar to the one I have on my 06... If in fact they are the same lip you can find them on eBay for about 150 and they are just as good!

Just make sure its the same lip first!

    Found this:

STi Front Lip Spoiler-2011+ WRX and Sti - SubaruWRXparts.com

It might a little bit expensive yet, but it's less than $500.

Check the BottomLine products at chargespeed.com; I particularly like the parts shown under GV# C Type. That rear edge looks very cool and functional too, should stop some wet and tar crap on that panel. I hope that fits the 5 door, maybe it can be modified.

You might be able to broaden the search by looking for 08+ sti lips too.. afaik the bumpers are very similar if not identical so they should match up.

I am actually very curious whether this is correct or not...

I'm definitely in the market for a front lip since scraping the underside of mine while parking If 08+ STI lips fit the 2011 WRX that would be outstanding...

I'll go out on a limb and say they do.. they "look" Identical.. and it would have been cheaper for Subaru to use the same body part tooling for both cars.. soo... yeah dunno. I'd put a buck n a beer down that they're same though.

I'm essentially looking for an eBay lip here...we're talking 60 bucks to ship something that may/may not fit. Maybe I'll just take the plunge and find out if they do.

The foglight surrounds and such definitely look different...but the width/contour of the bottom of the front bumper look pretty damn similar. I'd agree with you on that.

Yeah...I still wonder whether thats because the 2011 didnt exist when they wrote the posting or because it actually doesn't fit...I just have such a hard time spending 600 for a carbon fiber front lip...especially because I want the tS trunk spoiler which is a nice $600 itself :/

No the 08-10 impreza and wrx are very different than the 08+ sti and the 11 wrx.. they are narrower and have a different curvature across the nose. The 08+sti and the 11 wrx share a very similar contour. I'm pretty sure man you could get away with a 08+ sti lip and it will fit just fine. I know you can swap bumper covers from a 08+sti and a 11 wrx and it will go right on...

I read on another site that a number of 11MY WRX & STI owners are having an issue with significant cracks on the bottom of the bumper cover due to contact with curbs, snow, driveways..etc. Do you guys have a "fix" thread for this issue as I would like to do some preventative maintenance on mine before it happens? I'm thinking about bolting on some thin galvanized steel strips (painted) to the bottom of the lower lip to reinforce this apparentlly fragile lower area (not sure if it will go on top where it doesn't show or on the outside to handle the "rash" issue). Suggestions?

I mean....the car obviously is very low in the front. I was incredibly mad at myself when i barely bumped a parking stop and slightly cracked my front bumper.

With that being said...i'm not sure there's much you can do to stop it. I suppose if you wanted to run a reinforcing strip along the bumper that might stop it from cracking...or it could take some flex out of the bumper in that area and cause more severe cracking near the top of the bumper on an impact. It's a crapshoot if you ask me...you're probably best off just not being an idiot like me and avoiding curbs
