Hi Guys - I am a long time lurker - first time poster all the way from Perth - Western Australia.

We actually have a replica of the factory lip for the MY11 and its made from polyurethane - we also have a cf version but it is cf over fibreglass so can break if you scrape it - but our polyurethane version is more flexible.
The earlier WRX/STI lips wont fit the my11.

Here is a couple pictures of the polyurethane lip installed on our customers cars

    Cheers

As OEM goes, it's good. But I would prefer all shops working on this type to go for extending the OEM arc design.

OEM height is good for conservative folks, but extending the arc brings some attitude to the mix. It would look like a splitter design. Would Ultrex work on that?

The one guy I know that got the OEM lip spoiler says he scrapes it all the time on certain curbs and curses every time it happens. I miss the safety/clearance height of my '04 without the lip even. I guess I like function over form.

Oh yes, I like protection. That's one important reason to have a lip. OEM style is not so low, all the others do go down. But I've been suggesting for OEM lip height with the CS arc extension, more like a splitter.

FYI to those interested...I located the HT Autos lip shown earlier on eBay for sale. according to the prices listed...you're looking at about $341 for a front lip shipped from england...which is approximately the same as the OEM lip price.

I'm going to send them a message to get a shipping quote (let me know if anyone wants to do a group buy and maybe we can save on shipping!?) but it shows 70 GBP to the USA.

HPT Motorsports connection is working on a 2011 design; I think it's worth the wait. It'll be poly and considerably less expensive.

Any eta or links to more info on this lip? I've been waiting 9 freaking months for an aftermarket lip and I'm getting antsy.
