True, some did. And for those who didn't have that SoA-recognized issue, stage 2 wouldn't cause it. I was merely rebutting an inference that going stage 2 will prevent warranty coverage of known/systemic issues or issues not directly attributable to the modification.

Actually it doesnt really, your talking a diff in 2-3 hp between brands, again most go Invidia so I read, bellmouth I think. The charts prove it, sure another $300 bucks may get you 2 more horsepower but is it worth it is the question?

The differance between a low end cheep down pipe and a more expensive high end brand has nothing to do with horsepower. The differance is in the quality of the materials being used and the way its manufactured. That being said the question isn't is the couple hundred extra worth 2 more hp, the question is, is the extra dough worth the piece of mind knowing that you have a quality part that you don't have to worry about rusting out or having fitment issues? Like previously stated, one shouldn't go cheep on parts that you dont want to replace agin in the future.

Not sure if any delaers do them, Local tint places do them, find a good place usually $700-$1000. the paint is super soft on the WRX's. I didn't do after many people on the boards and i regret it big time. since july the amount of chips etc on the front bumper I have sucks. Bugs have even taken the paint off. SOA won;t do anythign under warranty they stated it was standard wear and tear on the car.
