It looks like it's been modded, but probably done with care. Give us engine pictures, etc. Take it for a ride - if it goes "whoosh" when you shift, pass it up (who knows what else they may have done).

Welcome from a new WRX owner as well. Coming from the Honda family as well I can tell you that wont be disappointed. It is a fun car to drive and it has bottom end toque a Honda cant touch. Just talk em down a little which shouldn't be hard considering a dealership.
