Hi there. May I recommend http://forums.nasioc.com/forums/showthread.php?t=533787 for some background reading.

Basically, the stages are just one company's marketing speak, but they've come to become well known basic engine modding stages. Stage 1 is just a tune - some sort of engine management or whatnot. To do this, just take your car to a tuner (it is possible, but not so recommended to do it yourself unless you have a great grasp of the interactions of fuel, timing, and boost). If they want you to have any other parts (MBC, etc.), they'll sell them to you. Stage 2 is stage 1 plus a turboback exhaust. Probably the most recommended place to start, as it's not too heavy in cost, and gives you significant power boost.

Again, the best thing to do is to read, read some more, and continue reading. This'll let you know what is meant by each mod, and how the mods interact.

Welcome to the forums. Lot of good how-to's in here with pictures. Find 'em and bookmark 'em.

Also, don't get frustrated when the webserver fails and you just wrote a long thread or post. It fails for no reason and gives no warning, so watch out!

    (hate that ****...)
