I own a 06 wrx wagon my father just bought a red 2011 wrx limited hatch, and is loving the rub it in your face time. What engine mods should I start with to make him eat his words!

A stg 2 tune + supporting mods will likely put you at "about" the same hp levels. In order to "clearly" exceed his HP levels, a turbo/intercooler swap will be required. A VF39 or an 18G are both inexpensive, will not immediately require injectors or fuel pump upgrades. A factory STI intercooler or reasonably price4d aftermarket TMIC will match either turbo nicely for not a lot of $$$ as well. Should you decide to go the Cobb AP route, Cobb offers OTS maps for both those turbos free of charge for your year WRX.
However, decent springs, sways, endlinks, and tires (to start) will put your car far above his in the handling department.
Then...... take it to the track and lay the smack down![]()
