    Finally found a Bugeye

    Hey all,

I've been lurking around this forum and some of the other WRX forums for a while, but didn't feel like joining until I really had something to talk about. Well, this week, I finally found the WRX I've always hoped for. It's a black 2003 bugeye sedan with only 80k on it, and perfect maintenance records (5 speed, of course). It was owned by an ex-Formula 3 race driver who had bought the car on his birthday brand new and had cherished it ever since. Unfortunately, hard circumstances forced him to sell, and I got a great deal on it (without ripping him off, I really felt bad for the guy). He teared up as I drove away.

So, now I have an absolutely mint totally stock WRX to play around with. I have plans to tastefully mod the car (starting with a short throw shift kit and bushings), but all in good time.

From a complete Subie newb, hello everyone!

I will for sure. I just have to get it detailed, and I'll throw some up here.

^^ Mostly on the Bugeye Mafia thread, although I did a photoshoot awhile back but seem to have lost all of the pics.

I'll post them if I find them.
