Hey everyone.
Just bought a 2003 WRX hatch with 87000ks, lowered suspension, nice exhaust and 18" wheels.
I wanted to put the cd player, speakers, sub and amp from my old car (nissan exa) and if possible the wiring kit and put it all into the wrx. I live in broadbeach so was wondering if anyone knew of any mobile auto electricians or anything?
Also wanted to get some opinions on putting a BOV in as it doesnt have one. I know there quite a few mixed opininos on this so im open to all info regarding this. Ill try and upload a pic from the net of the car I got.

car looks good dude! new member to new member, welcome! as far as the bov goes i would do some research and figure out where you wanna go with your build before you slap parts on. like if your eventually gonna run a fmic why no wait to get an aftermarket bov. adding a bov to a stock set up is a tad unneeded but if you just want the sound then go for it. just be carefull what you buy. at then end of the day its your car. just remember that

Welcome... Australia? Pretty cool - it's nice to see people here except us Americans - it gets pretty boring when 03's are still bugeyes all the time

Anyway, the general consensus on a BOV is... DON'T. Basically, the BOV lets air that's already been measured for use out of the system - this means that you'll be running rich (and you can't exactly tune this out), and all the negative effects associated with that.

My suggestion, if you want that sound, is to do the "silencer delete." This of course will not be as loud as with a real atmospheric bov, but you'll still get a lot of that sound.

yeah from the Gold Coast Australia. Thanks guys for the comments on the car im stoked with it. What is "delete" which you speak of instead of the BOV? I dont want to fiddle much with the engine so if the general consensus is to leave it stock i think thats what i'll do...
