hey, thanx. im in berlin/winslow area. i just brought it home last night. very long 3hr trip. great for shakedown run tho. it has much more done to it than i was told about. its lowered on what looks like H&R springs, has a full turbo back w/ bellmouth DP, an upgraded heat shield, K&n drop in, short throw shifter. negatives include at least 2 exhaust leaks, and a very bad front brake pulsation. oh well, its got 85k on it.
welcome! make sure you replace your uppipe asap if it hasnt already

(of course, i'd fix the issues youre having first and make sure its up to date on all its maintenance before going any further though)

ok, it has an up pipe w/ EGT delete done as well. im not too sure bout that pipe since it dosent look like stainless, was looking at a greddy replacement on rallysport direct. any good? also, my down pipe if F'n huge. i've never seen one like it. the bell isnt cast, its stainless and has a very slow taper from 4" to 3 at the cat section. its a one piece catless. anyone ever seen one like that?
Your DP sounds like a TurboXS.

thanx tenament, but theres no seam on mine from pipe to mouth, looks almost stamped and drawn down, rather than a formed mouth and pipe welded on.
oooh. I gotcha! Haha I just remembered my friend went the turboXS route and had a mooonster looking DP compared to my helix, which still looks imposing for what its worth.
Cobb DP maybe?I'm not familiar with wrx parts being a <6month owner, but as a tip from one bugeye owner to the next, watch out for how you treat 3rd gear. Our years especially came with inadequate dog teeth that would shear and... yanno. cause a ruckus in your box... unfortunately that means no 50mph 3rd gear dumps for me, but eh.
