Sick STi dude. Why did you sell the GTR if you don't mind me asking. I've always wanted to own an R32 or R33 Skyline.

Welcome, and very awesome car. I can only hope is ever that nice. Which do you like more, you should make a good comparison thread of the 94 R32 vs the 04 STi in built form. What did your former ride have done to it.

Well the Skyline was fun but I wanted to get into something a bit newer and different so I decided to give the subaru make a try. I'll post up mods lists of both cars here in a bit and make a comparison

Ok heres the modifications lists for both cars

    94 Nissan Skyline R32 GTR
    436awhp @ 18psi
The potential of this car is unlimited as the market still comes out with new parts for the RB26DETT engine that comes in the R32, R33, and R34 GTR model Skylines. The problem with mine was the wastegate was going out so I was loosing all my lower end power from boost lag and having trouble building boost so even though this car made more overall awhp it wouldve still lost in a downright straight line race.

    Engine:
    Tomei Poncams Type B
    800cc injectors
    Greddy oil catch can
Apexi "Isamu" IHI RX6 top mount twin turbos
    Tial BOV
    Apexi wastegate
Full 3.5in polished stainless straight exhaust
    Split Fire coil packs
    Carbonetics multi-plate clutch and flywheel
    Blitz SBC i-Color Spec-R
    Tomei oil pump
    NISMO clutch slave cylinder
    Koyo Aluminum radiator
HKS Fcon ProV engine management tuned by Kenny Tran of Jotech Motorsports Garland, TX
436 WHP AWD @ 18 PSI on 91 octane fuel

    Interior:
Defi control unit and boost gauge
Keyless entry and remote start with built in automatic turbo timer
Recaro driver seat with Sparco 3in 4 point harness
    R32 GTS passenger seat
    NISMO shift knob

    Suspension:
    Ksport adjustable coilovers

    Wheels:
    18x9.5 Work Meister S1's 12 offset

    04 Subaru Impreza STi
    408awhp @25psi break in tune
This car has a single turbo so it builds boost increadibly quickly, the characteristics from this engine are much different than the RB26DETT which is an inline 6 twin turbo engine. Its hard to compare the two cars because the modifications list on this car are much more comparable to a full built race car than the skyline had.

Both cars are dope as hell. Did you run into any issues when registering the GTR?

When I got the GTR it had a Florida title and was already stateside and all I had to do when I moved to Florida was retitle/register it like you would any other car it was actually really easy. Honestly it comes down to which state because each have different laws these days. Georgia and California for instance are places you would have an extremely hard time and would be very risky to losing your car. The new owner of the GTR had no trouble retitling/registering it in his state. You just gotta do your research with your local and state DMV.

I didn't realize you were from FL, I've heard they tend to be more lax when it comes to things like that.

FL is very lax if you know what youre doing. my fiance's friend imports cars here for a living and has been doing it for a while.

I wouldnt doubt if the OP's car came from him :P
