I'm new to Club WRX.
and my car is built not bought. I buy all my parts and I do work.
I have a 2006 Aspen White WRX.
I've had it for about two months now.
Ran the car at the truck about two weeks ago, hit 14.3 in 1/4 mile. My 60 was a 1.8. I have plans for auto x in the near future.
Not much done, just some candy purple wheels, HKS SSQ BOV, HKS Type 1 Turbo Timer, Apexi 3" Catback Exhaust, Stage 1 Open Source, Hawk Brake Pads.
Upcoming mods, complete piping (down pipe, race pipe, uppipe), RCE yellow springs and tokico gas shocks, strut & sway bars, vf39 turbo, bigger injectors, tune, sti top mount intercooler...and much more...

Welcome to the Club!
I'd like some pics of your car as well. The wife has been looking into getting a WRX (tired of her RX8) and she has always wanted candy purple wheels. I'm interested to see what she's getting me into =/
Welcome. Nice to see one more girl that's into Subies.
Thanks everyone!
I like to try and do my own thing and keep it original. That's why I went with the purple wheels. I'm pretty much going to try and make this car a quick 12 second daily driver.
Eventually I'm going to get some 18x9 wheels like this that have a different offset and have them painted again. They will be for daily driving, while the ones currently on there will be for track use since they are 17s and lighter. I think stance is everything and I want my wheels flush with the fender

Geez! I forgot how big the wrx spoiler is! Nice looking car though! Fun to keep clean?

Thanks everyone. It's been a fun project so far, right now I'm working on getting some more add ons.
And as for the unnecessary comment... all I am going to say is:
It's my car and I can do whatever I want with it.
So take your $0.02 somewhere else because I don't need your negativity.
The WRX will be fast and it will have a good stance.
I don't want a show car by no means, but I want something that I will be happy with and that involves being a daily driver that is quick but at the same time reliable. Something that is like eye candy and will turn some heads.
So, I'm getting my 18x9s and doing a serious drop. That will just be for my daily driving, and my current wheels will eventually be used for the track and/or auto-x.
I had an 06 tC that i put alot of work into. It was a fun toy to play with but it lacked HP and TQ. I had alot of modifications on it...nitrous, header, exhaust, your short shifter, all kinds of stuff. It wasn't a bad car though, completely murdered out. I found it to be very tasteful. But it was s l o w. Not even a turbo kit can do much for those cars IMO. Too messy to deal with installing something like that on a car that didn't come with a turbo stock.
On a good note, I'm glad I picked up a Subaru. A huge upgrade, and very fun to drive. I love the stock turbo and the fact that it's AWD.
If anyone sees anything about trading a trunk w/ STI spoiler for a trunk with WRX spoiler, let me know. I've been searching for one a while for one but haven't had much luck yet.
