    new guy, new wrx!

Hey guys, I have been lurking on here for a while, then last Christmas I came oh so close to getting a WRX, so I made an account here, but unfortunately the deal fell through. However, I FINALLY made things happen and got into my first Wrx!! I found a relatively low mileage, 1 local owned silver wrx a couple weeks ago and jumped on it and couldn't be happier.

100% stock, older lady that was a local doctor. So far I have cleaned it up cosmetically, new rotors and pads all around, and tinted the windows. I have new up/downpipes and catback exhaust, front and rear endlinks, new tie rodends all coming in hopefully soon. Keeping my eyes peeled for a nice set of rims/tires to really set it off.

Here are a couple pictures from last weekend when we were actually having nice weather. I gave her a quick bath, polished the headlights (they were REALLY hazy) cleaned the interior etc. These are the only pictures I have at the moment.

After a quick claybar and waxing, awesome reflection in my garage.

And finally a clean interior (it was pretty dirty when I bought it)

    Hey, thanks man!

The front bumper and hood will definitely need a respray, they are pretty rock chipped, but other than that it is very clean and everything works!

Here is a quick little cellphone video a friend of mine took while we were doing donuts in a parking lot when we had snow. This is before the stage 2 flash

    Hey, I am near Sudbury.

As far as suspension goes, more and more bushings are getting changed out, going to upgrade engine and tranny mounts, I have HSD coilovers coming, and upgrade to a hi-performance brake pad with SS lines, BMC brace and maybe upgrade to suby 4 pot calipers. Then of course a nice set of rims and tires forthe summer.

Added some more stuff yesterday, all in the footwork of the car. Updated mod list, new items in bold/red.

    Engine:
    - HKS Downpipe
    - HKS Up-pipe
    - HKS Mid-pipe
    - HKS Hi-power axle back
    - Cobb Accessport 93 octane stage 2 flash
    - NGK Iridium Spark Plugs
    - K&N High Flow Air Filter

    Suspenion:
    - Whiteline front endlinks
    - Whiteline rear endlinks
    - Moog tierod ends
    - Torque Solutions Pitchstop
    - Kartboy front & rear shifter bushings
    - HSD Coilovers 6k/4k spring rate

    Interior:
    - Cobb knob shift knob
    - Cobb AP v2 unit
    - 15% tint all around
    - Stri X-Line 60mm Boost Gauge

    Exterior:
    - Completely debadged
    - Rally Armor Classic Mud Flaps Red Logo

    Wheels/tires:
    - 18x9 Rota G-Force et48
    - Falken Ziex ZE-912 (235/40r/18)
    - Muteki Forged lugs - anodized red

I absolutely love the stance of the car, rear height is perfect IMO, fronts need to settle and come down maybe 1/2-3/4 of an inch. I don't want it slammed or tucked or any of that hella flush bidness. I will try and get some photos today, I should really invest in a camera. Next on the list are some nicer looking rotors to hide behind these new wheels.

Hey guys, small update and photoshoot the other day. I am slowly working on changing bushings and mounts throughout the car to tighten things up, and I must say thus far, the car is fairly stiff, and handles like it is on rails, so much fun to drive.

Updated mod list, new items in bold/red.

    Engine/Exhaust:
    - HKS Downpipe
    - HKS Up-pipe
    - HKS Mid-pipe
    - HKS Hi-power axle back
    - Cobb Accessport 93 octane stage 2 flash
    - NGK Iridium Spark Plugs
    - K&N High Flow Air Filter
    - Kartboy 15mm exhaust hangers

    Suspenion:
    - Whiteline front endlinks
    - Whiteline rear endlinks
    - Moog tierod ends
    - Torque Solutions Pitchstop
    - Kartboy front & rear shifter bushings
    - HSD Coilovers 6k/4k spring rate
    - STi replica front strut bar
    - Whiteline steering rack bushings
    - Whiteline rear subframe lockdown bolts

    Interior:
    - Cobb knob shift knob
    - Cobb AP v2 unit
    - 15% tint all around
    - Stri X-Line 60mm Boost Gauge

    Exterior:
    - Completely debadged
    - Rally Armor Classic Mud Flaps Red Logo

    Wheels/tires:
    - 18x9 Rota G-Force et48
    - Falken Ziex ZE-912 (235/40r/18)
    - Muteki Forged lugs - anodized red

We had a short stretch of some real nice weather so I took some time to clean up the car and grab a few pictures. I'm no photographer, but I think they turned out alright.
