    Hello, Newbie on the scene

    Hey everyone the name is Ray, I picked up a 2002 wrx last week and I've been enjoying it since. This is my first subaru and I am still in the learning process. But I have gotten a lot of information from the forum.

    So far it has a K&N typoon intake, 3" catback,cobb lightweight pully, STI tmic, lowering springs and adjustable shocks.

    My upcomming mods will be cat-less up-pipe,tbe, and either cobb access port or open source I haven't decided yet......ohh yeah and some 18" wheels.

    I'll post some pics as soon as i get it cleaned up this weekend

    Cool, sounds good, and sounds like you've got a plan on it! Glad to hear it's got an intake that won't mess with the MAF, either.

    If I may make a suggestion, consider a Grimmspeed up-pipe. They don't have the EGT bung so you don't need to plug it, and they have a flex joint that helps the install go a bit smoother. I also would recommend a divorced bellmouth downpipe, the gains over a non-divorced pipe are going to be negligible but you MAY see some extra numbers, especially if you go with a bigger turbo down the line.

    Also might want to invest in some stiffer sways & endlinks to help make that suspension ride better. Do you know what brand springs are in? I ask because some are reported to have a serious negative impact on strut life.

    Thanks for the advice, I will check out their site when I get home tonight. I dont know what brand springs they are, just that they are yellow and probably gettin about 1.5" drop. However I do know that the struts are kyb adjustables.
