Hey hey just bought my self a WRX 02 my favorite bug eye!

Hey whats up this is my first Subaru WRX that I have owned. I still have my toyota mr2 93 and I love that too but man this 02 was my favorite body style wrx and I just got it today I will post pictures of it tomorrow. I love it already so much fun. Any thing I should know as a first time subaru owner or any thing you can let me know to watch out for would be great.

Looks like a carbon copy of my bugeye. Enjoy it man!, I've left it in the stock form I got it in just so i could get used to all the ins and outs of the car, this will help you know what mods you need/want.

Thanks guys I love it I live in Delaware about 30 minutes from Ocean City Maryland. I searched for my bug eye for about a month and half and finally a hour and half away from where I live I found this one in perfect condition with all the service history from a subaru dealer ship and finally got to drive it home and now i just cant wait to have fun with it.
Im going to go to a auto x in Newark DE next month with the wrx Im very excited but I dont want to run the piss out of it.

That is an early car, potentially among the first to be sold in the US. Things to look out for are all maintenance items, including the timing belt every 105K, and in your case the cooling system too -- potential problem areas are the underside of the painted coolant overflow reservoir (upper left hand side of the engine bay picture, just above the physical location of the turbo) that can flake paint into the cooling system and the radiator itself, that may crack at the top seam.

Hey thanks for letting me know about the coolant thing Ill get on that check it out. Today I cleaned every thing used clay bar on it waxed it detailed it so it looks even cleaner now. Went through cleaned MAF sensor checked every thing new air filter all that good stuff runs like a dream now.
