New guy looking for a ride.

Alright so I'm getting ready to sell my car and trying to figure out what I want to do next.. I'm selling my car for 10k up front and I'm looking at the WRX's. I'd really like to get an STI but I'd have to take out a loan and then car insurance for an 18 yr old would be crazy. So I'm looking at 02-03 bugeyes that are around my budget. The miles range from 70k for 11 grand, to 120k miles for 8 grand. What would be my best way? Low milage for a higher price or vice versa? I'm looking at doing plenty of mods and not sure which would be my best grounds to start on. Any advice?
    Thanks
    Taylor L.

Get the closest to cherry example you can find within your budget.. and try to find one that isn't modded. Tough, but worth it in the long run.

Gahh, as much as I'd love to have that car I'm stuck at around a 10k budget. Plus 18 yr olds and insurance companies aren't the best of friends..

I agree with mangostick. I can be tough when you buy a car that someone already has moded. The less done to the car the better in my opinion.

    Good luck
