Beautiful subie ally! Dont wrap the rest it'll kinda make the car look cheap. Just leave it as is.

I'd paint the IC piping that's visible flat black. I'd then look into adding some lamps in what little room is left -- something very flat might work, you never know. I'd also mesh the front bumper openings with flat black mesh.

Then I'd paint the entire car metallic black pearl so no unpainted surfaces remain. This way the entire car would match.

I'm betting the mesh, lights, and paint would not add more than 25 kg even if you do two MPB coats plus a clear top.

Yes it is, and when MBP is new and swirl-free it does look great. The sad thing about MBP is that it's almost never swirl free, but this car is a great chance to get MBP done well and it'll look very nice when finished IMO.

    I HATE carbon fiber...

...when it's unpainted on a non-black car. This looks pretty nice; I would've liked bumpers and stuff shaped more like stock, but this is good.

I'd suggest finishing out replacing all the black panels with cf, and keeping it like that - cf looks horrible as accents, but great as a whole theme.

damn.. they beat me to it.

I was going to say, SGM paint for the black/portions of CF, and some creative and careful taping/clearcoating of the remaining CF and you could create such a wild combination. There's a Scion xb (...yes the toaster :/ ) with a Susen G. Komen Pink/CF/Deep metallic grey theme- it was for his mother that passed away from breast cancer last year I believe. The paint was by House of Kolor. I can't seem to find a picture at the moment.

But the carbon fiber and deep grey combination was amazing.

Your pink accents reminded me if the car. Just saying.. the black roof/lower fender causes the car to look incomplete imo, but really I can't knock anything because I gotta appauld all the work done t the car, including the powerplant you put in the beast. My BUG aspirest to have your drivetrain..

To the OP: Nicely put together, but not for me. And the first thing I see when everything else is carbon fiber is what is NOT carbon fiber. Sticks out like a sore thumb. Buy some carbon fiber body wrap for the parts you can't get in carbon fiber so it all looks the same. Just my .02.
the Bugeye weighs about 3050 lbs without a tank of gas. That's about 3155 lbs with a full tank and all the fluids.

That's about a 350 lb savings, but still great!

OP: Paint that thing man... you'd get a great looking yet feather-light car
