Wow awesome bugeye. I wanna know how much weight thats taken off of it. I would like to do this after I swap my motor and rebuild my tranny. I looked into doing this with seibon parts and came out around 6 grand. Veery worth it IMO.

Roll it over some scales to see what it weighs. Make notes on fuel level.

Damn.. a stock 02 weighs around 3370-3395. I wonder how weight was in all 4 stock doors alone? Awesome way to make a wrx half a second or more faster on the strip.

The stock doors are like 50-70 lbs with glass. I've taken them off an 02 I repaired.

    On the weight:

The CF hood weighs more than the stock one. The bumper weight diff is gonna be negligible. Your weight savings are in the doors, and by removing the bumper reinforcements, although I don't recommend taking out the bumper rebars.
You may save a few pounds on the CF trunk. And he probably ditched the spare.

    Nonetheless, 2800lbs is impressive indeed

I agree so I don't understand where he saved almost 600 pounds?

To the OP: Nicely put together, but not for me. And the first thing I see when everything else is carbon fiber is what is NOT carbon fiber. Sticks out like a sore thumb. Buy some carbon fiber body wrap for the parts you can't get in carbon fiber so it all looks the same. Just my .02.
