    New 2010 sedan, first mods?

I was looking around for a couple quick mods I can do and came across removing the air silencer. But the guide I looked at was for a 2004 and I don't think it applies to the 2010. Anyone know if there is an air silencer to remove on the 2010?

What other mods are good to do right off the bat?

    For the 09 or 10:

    1. short throw shifter with bushings.
    2. CAT back exhaust.
    3. Window tint.
    4. Clear bra, paint chips easily on front end.

Can you see the clear bra on black paint? I don't want to be able to see it.

Also, I have the short throw that came from the factory, does that count?

I've got a 3M clear bra on my OBP 2010 sedan and you can't see it all past about 5-10ft in the sun. In the shade or at night it's invisible.

    Get one. =)

I agree with WRXmike09- I have an 10 hatch and have the clear bra and CAT back exhaust already. The clear bra works well and stock exhaust has absolutely no sound at all and has to go. I got the Magnaflow for 200 bucks, sounds and looks great now. Tints are next for me and short throw shifter would be great down the road.

Look into replacing the bushings for it. Check out anything EJ has posted about it. They supposedly make a huge difference in the slop. They aren't expensive mods either.

How about getting a basic tune? Even from stock, a basic tune will smooth out your power band a lot.

Add a catback if you want some sound. I'd suggest getting some form of engine management before hand, then getting a full turbo-back and getting a stage 2-ish tune.
