Hi, i would like to introduce Suki, She is a 2000 V6 WRX STi Type R Coupe, She's magnificent, just awesome to drive.
Here are some of the features of this car

206kW at 6500rpm and torque 353Nm at 4000rpm (100 RON)

The factory STi computer is excellent, but has 3 shortcomings.
1st - it is tuned for 100 RON fuel, I use BP Ultimate 98.
2nd - it is tuned extremely safely and runs very rich.
3rd - it has factory limiters - 180k speed, revs, power.

Tein Super Street Adjustable Suspension

Nice car!
Life is like riding a bicycle in order to keep your balance you must keep moving.
This is where subaru fell short with the 2011 STI sedan! They should have made a 2 door version...
Nice car dude, 2 door FTW!!!

Like life, fashions tend to go in cycles, coupe's will come back and FHI will once again attack the WRC with a Subaru.
I wanted a V8 coupe and was gutted they stopped making coupes at V6. I looked at quite a few Type R's but they were all modified with either FMIC's, body kits or V7 engine transplants then 2 years ago i came across this fresh factory standard import and wow i've never been so lucky in all my life.
I'm one very happy Subie owner.![]()

heh v6 stands for version 6 not v6 engine i believe it is a 2.0L turbo boxer 4 in that..
v7 is the bugeye style then v8 is what came after etc etc...

I still don't know how I got this car...
V6 = Version 6 last of the classic or original shape impreza, mine has a 1994 cc boxer engine and VF28 Turbo.
V7 the new improved faster stronger Bugeye, V8 V9 V10 Hawkeye.
What version is yours ?
Or is the term version not used, perhaps version is just used down here in the underworld as the Subies main competition are Mitzi Evo's and they use a similar numerical designation.
I'm no subie expert or historian, i have tried to learn about the WRC Limited Edition models but have found very little on them.
If any of you know the history or specs of these cars or can suggest where i could look i would be very grateful.

Ok quickie lesson for some of the peeps who dont understand the earlier generation GC8 "classic" impreza's
The "classic" had many a variation of STI's called version 1 thru version 6 in Japan. so when Wayne here says a V6 impreza he doesnt mean its a V6(as in a engine) he is meaning its the Version 6 incarnation of the classic impreza or the last of the classic generation before the bugeye came out.
Japanese-spec
* Version I (10/92 – 08/94) - GC8A/B
* Version II (09/94 – 08/96) - GC8C
* Version III (09/96 – 08/97) - GC8D
* Version IV (09/97 – 08/98) - GC8E
* Version V (09/98-08/99) - GC8F
* Version VI (09/99-08/00) - GC8G
