    Help newbie identify WRX years?

I've been interested in WRX's since they first showed up at the local dealership back in '02. Kind of lost track after then because I had a couple Camaro's ('87 IROC and '68 SS). When it comes to Camaro's I can pretty much tell ya everything you'll ever need to know. I'd like to be a little more knowledgeable on WRX's now.

What I have a hard time with is identifying the difference in the years. Just this past weekend, I seen like 4 different body styles. Is there any newbie guide to help me along? I see the different headlight pictures up in the top corner, but what's the years for each headlight style?

    Please help the newbie grow.

If it ain't broke, don't fix it

I'm not sure of any other names for it.

Were gonna call it the not-as-ugly new one.

They's a low mile '94 LT1/6spd waiting in my shop for the swap into a '87 Z28. Stock engine with LT4 rockers (1.6:1) and impala head gaskets. Nothing fancy, really after the daily driver with a kick. Gotta love the 3rd gens bodies, but the engines/transmissions are lacking.
