Introduction of my new 06.

Well posting here just to say whats up and show off my somewhat new car. So for starts she is a Crystal Grey Metallic 06 Wrx that I bought with 29.5k miles(Nearing 32k already). I have had the car for about 3 months now and have loved every minute of it. I was finally able to upgrade from my 1989 Mercedes Benz se 300 which was becoming an annoyance due too a few problems that started arising. So of course like many others on here, I caught the mod bug and made some minor changes. I look forward to owning and enjoying this car for years to come and have a lot of plans for her. But as of now this is what I have gotten around too.

We actually have a very rare color. Most of the grey WRXs out there are UGM... ours are SGM and only produced in 2006.

Ok this has been bothering me for a while. I bought the car advertised as CGM which to this day I think it is. How sure are you its SGM? It doesn't look like other CGM's and I just cant figure it out. Is there a way to check the paint code? I really want to figure this out lol.

They advertisers were wrong. It's Steel Grey Metallic. If you want to verify the paint code...

I believe (without looking at mine...) that the paint code for SGM is 26D, UGM is 45A, and CGM is 48W.

There's a plate on the inside of your hood next to the drivers side strut tower... it'll say the paint code.

Thanks alot . The 04/05 tails look so much better and really bring out the rear of the car. I have not done that much stuff to her yet have I? Ahhh payments something I wanted to avoid, so I bought it with cash money haha and now can mod freely.
