    Hi Everyone,

Just purchase an '06 WRX 5 door. Pretty excited as this is my first Subaru. Not really looking to mod it too much but looking for recommendations on a cat back exhaust.

Greetings and welcome to the Club!

So many catbacks out there. I really like the Cobb TBE on my WRX.

Welcome It all depends on the sound and look you want. If you want the loud angled can look, or the stealth more quiet. And how much money you want to spend haha

Well I really love the rumble of the flat four so I am looking for something that will let it be heard.

While I would love to spend 600 or 700 on it, right now I really just want something to hold me over until I can get a really nice exhaust. Gotta get new brakes so that is eating up some of my budget right now.

might as well spend the money on the exhaust you want now (or wait). no point in spending 300 bucks on an exhaust you're going to replace in 6 months

Well I did it, placed an order for a Greddy Ti-C today. Pretty excited to get it in.

I know this may be a stupid question, but is there any concern with washing the car and the potential of getting water and soap through the hood scoop?

lol this has been asked before so don't worry about it. I'll give the answer I gave last time:

The STi actually has a nozzle that intentionally sprays water onto the intercooler.

Just ordered new pads and rotors for my 06 WRX wagon. Are there any tricks and specialty tools that I will need or are they pretty straight-forward?

I did my pads with no special tools, it was fairly easy. As for rotors not really sure
