    2003 WRX Newbie!

Just bought my 2003 WRX on Tuesday. I absolutely love this car. Not thrilled about the flywheel chatter from the lightened flywheel but I can always replace that. Other than that she runs like a dream. I am located in Ocala, Fl so if anyone is nearby let me know.

Thanks guys. I put in some new Infinity component speakers today and it's sounding real nice. Here's some other pics of the car.

yeah, from what I've read on these forums, replacing the flywheel/clutch without touching the transmission is a recipe for disaster. Go back to stock on those, or upgrade the transmission.

Of course, what do I know - I don't even own a car yet :P

well you've got the right idea... but what you don't want is a clutch/pressure plate with a very high clamping force
his has the same clamping force as oem so there's no stress
with lightened flywheels if too light can cause an engine light and can be tricky to drive around town all day in but they don't create tranny breaking problems

I haven't had any problems driving the car, just a chatter when the car revs down while in gear. As soon as I press the clutch pedal it stops. My first suspect was TOB but I did some research and was told it was probably the lightened flywheel. I am going to have my mechanic check both and find the real issue. Thanks for the input guys. I am new to the Subaru world. I was always a Nissan person so AWD is still new to me.
