tell ya the truth, no idea. my fiance said to upgrade turbo and do a bigger wing, but idk.
my biggest thing is to do like an ams/greddy/hks exhaust, swap to an injen intake, new alpine head unit, some new gauges, and possible like sti grill.
i was kinda pondering getting another greddy profec b spec 2 bc and tuning with ecu flash and evo scan. but i need to replace the clutch first before anything else.

This isnt a lancer, you need to read the first mods thread.

and tuning is tuning. if it is tuned right then you wont have a problem.
as long as you datalog yur car and know how to read what you just did then you know how to tune. granted i know im not the best but i took a base model non turbo lancer and am now pushing 15psi with it. not to sound arrogant but i do know something about tuning.

Welcome to the Club, Josh!
That's a lot of love/time put into your Lancer, hope you'll be putting even more into the Subie!
You need to pick a different exhaust and different intake. Both are crap. Just sayin', but I'm sure you just started doing your research.
Here's the first power mods you need for your '02:
*Uppipe
*TBE (better choice than the ones you listed. What are you looking for...loud/quiet, single tip, etc.?)
*Tune
That's called Stage II. It's the best money for more power and you can build from there.
If you want to continue building you can move to suspension (sway bars, end links, etc.).
But if you read the "first mods" thread I'm sure you already know all this.![]()

Finally Stage II!
well it already has a perrin up pipe i saw and it does have a tbe on it but i cant seem to find a "name" on it to identify if its any "good" or just some ebay crap. i was lookin at the injen intake only cuz i can get a rather good deal (i think, he hasnt gotten back to me with a quote yet) from a friend whose an amsoil dealer. and with me in wisconsin amsoil is like 2 hrs north of where i live.

Just cuz you can get a good deal on something, doesn't mean you should! I could give you a chocolate-covered turd for free...would you want it? But it's FREEEEE!
You don't even need an intake at this point, so maybe you should put that money towards a nicer, name-brand exhaust?
I know you kind of have your mind set on certain things and you have some experience with turbo cars, so you think you know what's best, but we're just trying to help you mod your car right and get the best bang for your buck.

Finally Stage II!
The reason the Injen intake is frowned upon is because it skews MAF scaling off more than most other intakes and is harder to tune for. This as opposed to ones that only need very minor adjustments.
Speedette has an no name intake she can sell you for exceedingly cheap if that's what's most important to you.![]()
