I've been meaning to head down there. It's one of the few AWD dynos in the area. Thanks for the reminder.

Did the tuner datalog on the road after the dyno? The tune may need a little tweaking...

We didn't do any street datalogging, I stayed on the dyno. It didn't cut like that at all on the dyno, but getting onto the turnpike it did. I'm assuming it has to do something with the temperature, since that's one of the only things that changed from the dyno to the road. I'll ask him if that's an option when I go back. Thanks!

load also changes... The dyno attempts to simulate a road, but it doesn't

    Over one year later, hello!

After about 8 months or so of faithful "stage 2" performance, I got bored and decided to do some shopping around...

I picked up a mildly used Blouch Performance 16g from Ryan Moore @ Moore Performance here in Pittsburgh (great guy btw, highly recommended). The turbo came with the compressor ceramic coated and fully pnp'd, along with a Forced Performance 8cm^2 housing rather than the 7cm^2 one that normally comes on it. I also picked up some Subaru 550cc injectors from Ryan and an STI intercooler from a forum.

And how the car sits currently:

are you able to take a log? I'm just curious if you're above 85% on your Injector Duty Cycle.

Right now I cannot datalog anything, but I can see if someone locally has a tactrix cable I can borrow. I've been wanting to log for a while and looking at the injector DCs just gives me one more reason to do it!

I'm just curious because the IDC shouldn't be above 85%, and depending on boost with your 16g... it could be. The accepted standard is for 85% open time, and at minimum 15% closed time so that the injector drivers have time to cool off since electricity is what keeps them open. Anything over 85%-90% could be wearing your injectors prematurely, and anything over 100% is bad news bears.

Datalogged this evening. A friend of mine hasn't emailed me the complete log yet from his computer, but from RomRaider's dashboard it seems that the maximum IDC is 94%. I'm not sure when or under what conditions they are running that high at (though I can take a guess) but considering how conservatively I drive the car I'm not too worried about it. I'll post/host the datalog when I get it, I'm interested in what people think about it.
