Hey, my name is Matt. I have a 2001 Z28 Camaro. Always thought the Subies were cool so I figured I'd stop in and see whats up. Plus a buddy of mine wants to get one so I figured I'd see the ins and outs of the cars. Try to help him out a bit.

Thanks for the welcome. 79 Z28 has got to be pretty nice. I love the second gens. Whats on the 98 SS?
My car has Pacesetter long tube headers, Texas Speed off road Ypipe, Hooker catback, SLP air lid, and a stock throttle body ported to 78 mm. The car put down 353 hp and 366 ft lbs with no tune which I hope to remedy next weekend.
I have a couple of pictures of my car from my trip to Gatlinburg.
Scooby weather for sure, Z took it though

That's nice man, Gatlinburg, I love it there.
Hopefully one day my 79 Z will be show worthy. Right now it is a work in progress. The body is rust free and I recently finished building the engine, tranny, carb and rear end. (383 stroker, TCI super street fighter, 850 Holley, 342 gears) Right now I am trying to figure out how to fabricate a 4" dual side exit exhaust, and a DIY cold air intake like the one made by Spectre.

Thanks for the welcome!
Why do you want dual four inch exhaust? Is your engine fuel injected?

I hear ya on different. However sometimes different means more trouble than its worth. Further you'll completly lose all back pressure. Dual 3 is enough. I have a decently healthy 94 Z28 on a four inch single and that WAY out flows what I need. If I were you I would look into some kind of cowl hood and get some kind of exposed air cleaner and leave the CAI out of it. You'll make more power the other way.
