    New Guy Intro. 03 WRX

Hello Everyone. Just thought I'd say Hi. I recently acquired an 03 WRX. It's been my dream to own a Scooby for a long time and finally got it done. It's got a Cobb Access port and Turbo-back exhaust. I'm planning on doing the up pipe soon and I'm sure plenty of other mods will follow. Lots of information here! I've got a lot of reading to do.

Thanks in advance for everything you all have put into this site!

    -Jeff

I'm not sure what the pipe is. I've looked all over it and I can't find any identifiers. I've been going through the exhaust sound thread trying to compare, but many of the links are broken. It's pretty loud. I love the sound, but I'm getting old enough that I don't feel like pissing off all the neighbors. I'd actually like to get a Borla Hush or similar system on there. Might try putting a silencer in the end for now.

I dig the stocker looking pipes, mine came with the HKS tip. Its pretty loud, but not rediculous loud. Id get a smaller one but it woulnt look right with the rest of the car. Any ideas for future mods yet?

Welcome to the forums. Post up some closer pictures of the exhaust and we might be able to ID it for you. Happy modding.

Thanks guys, I'll try and get some better pics up soon.

Future mods will include stereo, brakes, and suspension. It's already got enough power to get me into trouble so I'm trying to leave that alone for now.

I've got a couple JL 8w3's begging to go in the trunk and I've already installed a new head unit and my scanner. A previous owner thoroughly butchered some aftermarket speaker installations , so I need to clean that up. They hammered (literally) the holes open in the rear dash so they could smash some 6x9's in there. And there are Focal components in the front door panes that do nothing but buzz against the door liners.
