Looking for winter WRX beater.

I have a RWD car for summer usage, and would love to have a AWD for winter. I live in the Mid Ohio Valley area, and was looking at the WRX as a decent winter car. It would have enough UMPH and still be able to handle the snow.

My question is, What is a good price for a used one?

Thanks.

A good price for a used WRX is a price that you deem reasonable according to the status of the vehicle, similar vehicle prices in KBB, and how much money you are willing to part with.

I got a 2002 Mustang GT with 8k miles on it for 10k. Not bad at all.

Not too fun in the winters however..

I got rid of my STI Limited for a 350z simply for financial reasons...boy that was dumb, as I'm watching a blizzard outside of my office here in Philly...My work put me up in a hotel room behind my office just so I could be onsite. They know my car doesn't go an inch in the cold stuff. STI on the other hand...I could drive up walls covered in ice!

Definitely shop around...seems that I've seen 02-03 WRX's going for $10-11k with 70k+ miles on the clock lately. 04-05 WRX's are going to pull a few thousand more pending on condition and mileage of course. But especially if you look now, AWD cars pull more of a premium in the winter as they are more sought after. Good luck!
