    Hi there,

New member posting from France. Trying to make some decisions about my next car purchase. Currently i drive a ford focus 1.8tdci estate but i'm looking at changing for a 2006 impreza wrx 2.5turbo estate. I need the extra size of the wagon for work etc... obviously the sti Is extremly tempting ybut not available in that body shape.

Questions... 1. How are the wrx models different to the sti's
    2. If possible, what Is the best way of upping the power?
    3. Are the handling charectoristics drastically changed from saloon to estate?
    4. What figures/power bhp could i expect from remapping and by doing a few simple upgrades??
    5. What are your opinions on this car? Good plan?? ;-)

Many thanks, looking forward to getting scoobied.

thanks alot! so it looks like buying a wrx and doing a couple of mods could be of interest. Looking at the 06 version simply because of cost. Here in france the second hand market is pretty expensive and my budget is somewhat limited.

Will look around. Are sti turbo's somewhat easy to find?? i should imagine so with how many are wrapped around trees... haha. Stealth beast maybe hmmm, standard exterior with a nice engine is what is wanted. Just to play around in the alpine roads by me here :-D
