Driveline modifications are pretty cheap, and are noticeable.

    A short-shifter + bushings would be a great upgrade:

you've got 265hp to start with, i'd work on suspension - sways, endlinks...get a feel of what the car does stock before spending money on the car.

adding a CBE won't do much except let you hear the boxer motor a bit more. you can throw a downpipe + cbe + a tune then you'd see a totally different car = Stage 2

you didn't give a budget that would let forum members guide you.

The first thing I bought was floormats, cargo mat, and cargo net. I followed that up a SPT oil cap and battery hold down. Than a Perrin super shorty antenna.

Right now I have Rally Armor mud flaps and boost/ oil pressure gauges and pod sitting in the back of my car ready to be put in. I am just waiting till I hit 3000 miles and ill put it all in the same time I change my oil.

On my list next is sway bars, links, short shifter, better brake parts.

On my list last is power upgrades. I think you should to learn to drive a car the way it is before increasing the power. But thats just me.

Boost gauge should be high on the list...

I dont know about other companies, but Perrin seems to have sales fairly often. I know around Halloween they had something like 30% off. I just got my gauges for 19% off a couple weeks ago. When you are spending a few hundred bucks that is pretty significant.

I just got a '10 4 door myself. It came with the SPT cbe. Here is what I plan to do over the next few months, in order:

    1: Winter tires
2: new stereo system (default stereo sucks)
3: Cobb accessport and stage 1 tune

    And further down the road:

    Short throw shifter
    stage 2 piping and tune
