    New `08 Owner

Just bought a white pearl 2008 WRX Sedan left over, only had 750 miles on it. Got it for used pricing but it still has the 3/36000 warranty that started yesterday and they also threw in the 7/100000 extended warranty so I'm happy with that. I like the docile looks of the car and am pleased with the sedan configuration. Took a road trip with it and I like the road manners for a small car. I know that the `08's took a hit on performance and the `09+ cars corrected that. In the near future, I would like to at least get the `09 spec power with a maximum of 350 crank horsepower. The impression that I'm getting so far is that I can switch to the `09 turbo & injectors then a tune and end up around 300 crank hp. Anyone done this combo or have input on doing so?

    Thanks in advance,
    Dave

Welcome. Yes the turbo and injectors make an excellent upgrade for the 08. As far as numbers I'm not sure, it would depend on various factors. You should moire than likely see more than 300 crank HP with the VF52 as stage one for the 09-10 is 305+ hp.
