    First Subie: '02 WRX Wagon

Hello! I'm so excited about getting my first subie. I live in Montana and we ALWAYS get a lot of snow so I wanted something that could handle crappy roads but something that was also stylish . I do have a question though. I'm looking to upgrade to an AEM Short Ram Intake and a Flowmaster American Thunder exhaust. The FM exhaust is very inexpensive compared to most exhausts on the market but i'm nervous about buying something crappy. Any advice? Thank you!

Clever choice, you'll like the car I bet.

Keep the stock intake, read everything you can here, and then pick a catback exhaust if you're still interested based on sound and fitment.

Cool thanks for the advice. Any reason why I should keep the stock intake? Should I change it out after the exhaust?

    absolutely

subies are a pain in the butt so you should definitely do all the research you can before you start on a modding path.

reading older posts & FAQ's are really helpful

Welcome! That' a mighty fine looking wagon you have there!

The less you do, the more reliable they will be. Not to say you can't go crazy. There are folks who have modded the crap out of their cars and still get over 100k.

    Headlights

I'm really not a fan of the dodge neon-esque headlights that come stock on the Wagon. I have two sets in mind. Could I get your guys' opinion?

Option #1. 2002-2003 Subaru Impreza Morette Headlights Black by: 4caroption - Buy

Option #2. 02-03 Subaru Impreza Headlights from Anzo at Andy's Auto Sport

    I think I like Option #2 most.

Welcome to the club! Beautiful wagon.
