As long as its not a TBE then you should be fine. You wouldnt need a tune if its just a CBE. Unless you want to give it a try and 50/50 your engine life by installing the TBE.

Its your car, Do w/e you want with it. We are just here to provide you with info. Theres a TONS of info on the forums. Something new everyday as i seem to read about our cars. I'm loving it.

    Good luck Bro.

You dont need a tune for a CBE... For TBE you will need one... Your not going to see any noticeable gains with a CBE on the 09's... You will get a difference in sound...

If your looking to spend close a grand on a CBE IMHO your money is better spent elsewhere on the auto.. You can get better performance gains in 1k worth of suspension... or 1k in a pro tune and have money left over to do plenty of other things like shifter and strut bars and sway bars...

Check into the Magnaflow cbe. I was in-between it, the Perrin and the SPT for my 09 hatch. Found a great deal, a new 2.5" MF shipped for a tad over $400. Much more affordable than Perrins' which was closer to 8. Good fit and a great sound!

Wow! Sweet deal. If you don't mind my asking, where did you find a new SPT for $350? My dealer could only offer it to me for $600.
