The last Impreza that came with a TD05H-16G was the '96 model year. '02-'08 WRX come with TD04L-13Ts. WRX/STI owners wish their cars came with 16Gs.

gotcha; so from what ive learned, the stock turbo on these cars is the 13Ts, but can be upgraded to the 16g or 20g but with serious upgrades such as fuel delivery, spark and tuning am i correct?

now what about the block on these cars? what is the HP rating on the internals before they start to give?

An turbo 2.5L models can take a 20G, but the earlier 2.0L WRXs cannot. 16Gs are a good turbo for the 2.0s.
