    Just joined

    Hello Everyone! Just joined today, i have a 2009 WRX 5-door, I LOVE it...I went from an 08 Mazdaspeed3 to this. My mods so far are in my signature.
    2009 SPT WRX.
    Cobb AccessPort Stage 2. Cobb Downpipe.
    Cobb Short Shift/Bushings. SPT Cat-Back.
    Perrin Turbo Inlet. HKS SSQV.
    6000k HIDs. Lamin-X Headlights & Tailights.
    Pioneer Nav, Bluetooth & Sirius.

    Why the move from the MS3?

    How would you compare the two, MS3 and the 09wrx? Is there anything that you miss about the MS3? I'm just curious to ask someone who has owned both.

    The biggest reason for the change was the AWD, living in Denver things can get a little scary in a 260hp fwd car in the winter. I absolutely loved my Speed3, had lots of hard work into it, There's only so much you can do to one until the front wheels just spin. One thing I miss about the MS3 is the interior quality, everything just felt a little more solid in there. I will say that the handling on the WRX is much better than the MS3 was at stock.

    ..despite being on my 2nd engine in less than a year, the WRX is a better car than the MS3 IMO.

    I live in denver too, and that was my biggest reason for ordering my WRX. the rwd bimmer handles terribly in the snow....

    Hello sprucegoose, Like you, it's my second engine in less than a year I bought volvo C30 (new hatchback) early April, and I just sold it and got a 2010 wrx. The C30 was nice but I wanted something a little bit bigger and more fun to drive (It was automatic).

    I was thinking about the MS3 also, but I don't really like the look of the new generation and you can't argue with an AWD 265hp machine lol. The C30 had a better interior though.
