    Btw, I am a player also. My number 1 is a Tom Anderson Pro Am with a Floyd.

    it was close to $400, not much more than factory install.

    While the STS on the WRX is much bigger improvement and I think necessary over the normal shifter (I test drove both), it still has some slop and the height could be shorter.

    I am looking to get a new knob as the rubbery really doesn;t fit the interior. Do some knobs make up for the height??
    I was looking at the MOMO one.
