    Just got my WRX today!

Just hit this thing up this morning. 2005 with 51k miles on it. Car was listed as salvage and flood for 9,500$ I payed a mechanic to check it out, and I took it for a spin. Drives great, mechanic said it must have been insurance fraud or some other shenanigans because there are no signs of water damage @ all. I do need 2 new rear tires, and an AC belt, and some brakes though. I talked the guy down to 8,500....got my insurance + registration and called it a day. I used to drive a turbo subaru 5 speed forester, man is this thing fast. Way faster and much more sleek than my old sube. This car is sick and im looking forward to getting help adding some stuff to it here at this site.

I already do : D in my forester I was making a left and some douche tried to pass me (thought I was going slow but I was making a turn) with my signal on, he smashed into the side of me going 45 MPH, I didnt have a scratch. There safe, and this one is super fast(to me). I love these cars

    any future plans to mod?
Yeah I only paid 6,500 of the 8,500 but after I pay that off and catch up on insurance I plan to put a spoiler on it, a exhaust with some beef to it, maybe a CAI, and a BOV. I also want to toss a couple more speakers in the back ( These stock ones are almost loud enough) and I want to tint the windows a little.... : D A long way until then....

Welcome! Read this -->"The BIG BOV thread" (Where all bov question threads get merged) Stay away from the BOV. And don't waste the $$$ on a CAI. If you want power get yourself a TBE, catless uppipe (or gut your stocker) and get yourself a tune (Cobb AP V2 for example)

Yes, just if you add a downpipe you'll need to incorporate some kind of engine management. Also at that point your car will become a whole new animal, in a good way!

Im not too down for the 6 pos. stocks, I cant get a good cheek weld with them. I use this rifle for service competitions...I have the RRA 2 stage and I do well with it.

Why do I need engine management?
