    06 sti question

Hi everyone I am currently in the process of trying to buy a black 2006 sti and was wondering if i got a few upgrades such as a tune and tb exhaust and a few other things would i have to make any other modification to handle the new found power because my friends 2006 wrx stage 2 ran for about 15,000 miles befor the tranny blew and i know they are different trannys but is there anything i should worry about. Any help is greatly appreciated.

That STi 6spd is just short of being bulletproof. I wouldn't be too worried about the with STi's tranny while runnign Stage 2. WRX's 5 spd's are by far weaker and more prone to blowing when driven hard.
