thanks all for the warm welcomes. im still trying to get some pictures done, i dont have a my camera right now.
as for any mods, im new to that completely, but from what i've been reading and researching on, i'll probably get an AP, a new filter for the existing intake and CBE. maybe a down pipe later on, but thats probably going to be it.....
if your not switching from map to map, the imo the AP isn't all that necessary. you can do an open ecu tune and it would be about half the price.

Thanks for the info, im not really completely sure what im going to do with it yet, it will probably be a while before I put anything on it. I dont want to void the warranty. I was going to see if i could talk to the service manager to see if i can at least put the exhaust on it with out voiding it, but i figured they would just tell me to get the SPT exhaust instead......

is it a good idea to get the tune without mods?

Stage 1 tune, either AP or open will definitely have an improvement without mods. I noticed a pretty substantial boost (especially in 3rd gear) with a cobb stage 1 tune. I plan on going stage 2 eventually, but I'm still bonding with my baby.
If you want an AP, keep an eye open for used ones - they are easy to ship and sometimes you can get a good deal!
