    STi lowering springs on an Impreza

    I posted this earlier on the suspension mod and I didn't get any replies so I'll post it here....

    Hey guys my friend might cop a set of Tein H lowering springs for a good deal which came off a 04 Sti..the only thing is I know there is a body change in 06 (correct me if Im wrong)..will those Teins fit on his 07 Impreza?

    i think the 06-07 have different springs than the 04-05's, i kno the 02-07 springs for wrx's are pretty similar but i dont think the 04-05 sti tein htech would fit with a 06-07 impreza. but i could be wrong.

    I'm pretty sure they will fit... he will need to get the top hats off of an 04 STi though.

    i put 07 sti springs on my 02 i just needed the rear strut tops and they bolted right in.

    Aftermarket springs designed for Impreza STi will be too stiff for stock struts. OEM STi springs work well though.

    They will fit without issue. They are also a fairly reasonable spring rate to be paired with WRX struts.

    Hey thanks for helping me out guys...

    He is using the stockers for now then he'll uprgrade! I'll let him know whats up. If they don't fit then I'll stick em on my PT lol

    i've never been a fan of the tein springs, some ppl with the coilovers liked there results but i haven't had any experience with them.
