    Early on in my research

    Hi folks,

I own a 2004 WRX and I love the car. However, it is my only car and it isn't really conducive for hauling anything of any real size. This is because, as you know, the darn rear seats don't fold down. I had a GTI and I was able to get tons of stuff in the car when I pushed the seats down. Didn't have it very long though.... it was the epitome of a lemon.

Anyway, I am thinking of possibly getting a "small" pick-up like the Tacoma. Possibly the Access Cab/Double Cab. However, if any one has any suggestions I would be so appreciative.

I am considering a hatch as well. That's where a new WRX/STI comes in. However, can you get a lot in the car or something of decent size like a screen door ? My search begins!

    Thanks!!!!

I like the idea of the hatch. as far as a truck goes the market is odd, some of those smaller trucks get just as bad of mileage as the bigger ones so thats something to look at, although i know a guy with a tacoma and he likes it, i can't remember what the mileage he was getting was but he liked the truck. sorry i don't have a lot of knowledge on trucks. Good luck tho!

Thanks.... the mileage on the Tacoma is around 17/20. Thing is... they aren't cheap.

Right now I am stuck having to ask my neighbors to drive me the the hardware store or HD to pick up stuff. I feel bad about that.

yeah that does suck, no lie. the tacoma is a pretty good truck from what i kno. honda makes a pretty good truck too, but they're pretty big. idk depends i guess, if you can afford it, then it would be a nice thing to have. otherwise a hatch always provides for more room
