    i was looking at 2002-03 wrx's they all have 100,000 plus miles will the engine go any more our is it a bad idea to buy one with that many miles

    Hello.

    Many of these cars were not owned by people that drove them conservatively and maintained them correctly. The trick is going to be finding one of the exceptions. At that age you should be looking for a full service history since new, including a recent timing belt change.

    Do not rush to buy. They make more Imprezas every day, so take your time.

    i advise the same thing to all used buyers, do not buy highly or even many slightly modded cars, u may think it will save you time but in the long run it will cost you money to fix others mistakes. especially with higher miles like that. the 02-03s are great cars you just can not rush the buying process as sd_gr said.
