Welcome! If you do any more than just a catback exhaust (i.e. downpipe) you will need to tune it also.

How are you liking your 08? Amidst much hate towards them I completely enjoy mine.

    Thanks for the welcomes.

Like Mickey Ds. I'm loving it.

The hate doesn't bother me. It's not for everyone, but I dig it. I wasn't in it for the looks. Once I test drove the 05 and felt the pull I was hooked. You can say it was love at first boost.

haha you know whats funny is i had never driven a wrx, in fact never even been close to one (very few in my area), didnt even see a picture of it. i just trusted that it was as great as i thought it would be and i spent the money on it then 2 weeks later drove to pick it up. it still makes me smile.

I had no knowledge of the WRX before a new guy started on at work who had an 02. Hearing him talk about his is what got me interested in the WRX.

well whatever does it i guess. once you start modding its addictive, i had to stop logging on to here and quit reading about them for a while cuz my spending was getting out of control. but they really are a lot of fun. so what exhaust are you looking at?

Still researching. I like the new Invidia N1 CBE(single exhaust not a problem. I have the Sedan). Is there any manufacturer that I should stay away from?

personally i dont know which to stay away from, mine is a custom made one and it works great so i dont have much for advice, other than i really like Cobb's. they even have that deal where the exhaust and AP comes as a package so you save some money. but it is a little spendy, good set up tho. and i like the SPT too. both have subtle looks and good performance from what i kno. oh and a great rumble... thats a must
