    My new 08 WRX

Just recently picked up a beautiful Blue Mica 08 WRX 4-door. Going from a Dodge Magnum to this is indescribably exciting. Who needs that much cargo space anyway? I am never buying American again... The car was a demo with 1300 miles, the premium package and Nav. Projected Future upgrades include 1) K&N Intake, 2) new exhaust, 3) tinted windows. Maybe some suspension mods, but I am really happy with this car right out of the box (I don't feel like it needs anything right away!). I wish the car had bluetooth though (driving stick is hard... talking while driving stick is impossible for me). Looking forward to many years of posting

Hello, and welcome to the club! Nice blue WRX you got there! Our sport compacts are wonderful for zipping around Chicago (especially when it comes to parallel parking!!!!), and the AWD will make it feel like you're drivin' your truck in the IL winters.

Congrats on the new whip! I didn't realize how much smaller the intercooler is on the new body styles. Thanks for the pics and welcome!

Unfortunately, Subaru designed the 08/09 WRX series as minimal mod cars. Subaru has really caught hell for this from alot of people. There has been a large seperation now beetween WRX & STI models. As most buyers know a large seperation in price as well. I have heard rumors about the specs leaked out on the 2010 STI coupe have alot of the minimal mod designs put in place on that model as well. I personally think Subaru is tired of having to warranty mod issues because of SEMA laws.

Congrats on the new car. Looks good. Lack of bluetooth does suck but you can always invest in a bluetooth ear piece. It's better than trying to hold the phone with your shoulder while trying to shift.

Congrats on the new car man! I love my WRB 08' as well! I recommend checking out 3Gwrx.com, it's an 08-09 Wrx/Sti specific forum and theres TONS of info on the 08's. I highly recommend going stage II when you can afford it, it really smooth's everything out and bumps the power to more of the 09's level
