I am new to the site and to the WRX world.....

I bought an 04 Wrx a couple months back, Iv always been a muscle car guy but have liked these for a while. Ive done a couple mods since getting it.AEM cold air intake, HKS Hi Power turbo back exhaust, Turbo XS RFL BOV. I recently traded my stock 04 tail lights for 06 tail lights and had em tinted. My question that I have is that I love the way the 06 and newer headlights look, are these interchangeable like the tail lights or am I stuck??? welcome to the club!

you can definitely get 06 headlights...

and an 06 bumper, fender, hood, etc.

you'd basically be buying a whole new front end.

how come you didnt get just an 06?

To make a long story short, I totaled my other car and only had 3 days to find a new one, and there isnt a lot of choices unless you are willing to travel and i definately wasnt wanting to travel with bruised ribs, a concusion.

Yes I agree the 2006 taillights are very cool. I thought about getting them for my car.
I love my 05 headlights, but to each their own.

Good luck with the 06-07 face change if you go that route.

Welcome, Congrats and glad you are okay.

But I am curious on how much you are paying for insurance monthly on the WRX with an accident on your record... I know they are not cheap to insurance.. I pay an ton now. lol

Thanks to all for the warm welcome. My insurance is more than my car payment, but when you total a 2002 trans am WS6 I think that should be expected, but enough about that. If I want to change the headlights will I have to change everything else, If thats the case than those will have to wait, Id rather go for performance than looks. I already get plenty of compliments on my car the way it is espcially now with the new tail lights.

Its alot of work to change over to the 06 tails. But you can do it if you truly want too.

I already did the tail lights, I was thinking about doing the headlights but just found out id have to change my hood and bumper and everything else so im definately over that for now. Id rather put the money in getn down to the mid 12's now and worry about style later but thanks for your help. I will definately be geting some pics up this weekend after I install my new exhaust.

Congrats on the buy! Be proud of the blobeye! But yeah, a front end conversion is more trouble than it is worth. Hood, fenders, bumper, etc... etc... Money better spent else where.
